I’m originally from Connecticut, but for the last 15 years I’ve found myself returning to the Raleigh area again and again and each time, not wanting to leave. Over the past few years, work has brought me here more frequently, and it became clear that this wasn’t just a place I enjoyed visiting. It felt like a place I could truly call home.
Clayton reminds me so much of the town I grew up in back in Connecticut, small-town charm, a strong sense of community, but with warmer seasons and closer access to universities, shopping, and medical centers. It offers that familiar, grounded feeling while still being connected to everything the Triangle has to offer. Investing in this home was a personal decision rooted in my love for the area and my intention to one day make Clayton my own home.
